We are excited to grow our girls youth lacrosse program within the Ephrata Area School District, and we invite all girls in 2nd through 8th grade to join us! Our program is designed for players of all experience levels—whether you’re new to the game or have been playing for years, there’s a place for you here.

Our primary goal is to create an environment where every player can learn, grow, and thrive through the game of lacrosse fostering both skill development and personal confidence. To support this, we’ll be collaborating closely with the Ephrata Girls Varsity Lacrosse players and coaches, providing invaluable guidance and inspiration from experienced mentors.

Teams compete in the Tri County Lacrosse League, offering a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself, make new friends, and be part of a supportive and competitive environment.

General Season Setup:

• Practices begin in mid/late February indoors at one of the local EASD schools. Once the weather breaks, practices are held at Snyder Park.
• Our 2nd-4th grade and 5th/6th grade teams will have two 90 minute practices per week. Our 7th/8th grade team will have 3 90 minute practices per week.
• The season is made up of 5 "play days" and 1-3 one day tournaments. On play dates, we travel to one school within Lancaster, Lebanon, or Berks County and play two games. The single day tournaments are held on different weekends at Hempfield, Manheim Township (Weaver Fields), and Governor Mifflin.
• The season ends in mid-May.

Required Equipment

• Lacrosse Goggles - can be purchased at Dick's Sporting Goods, ASC Lacrosse (Angelo's Soccer Post), or online. Used pairs can at be found at Play It Again Sports in Lancaster.
• Lacrosse Stick - these range in price from $50-$300. If your daughter is new to lacrosse, BUY THE CHEAPER STICK. They do not need the most expensive stick to start. It's also not good for their development. STX, Gait, and ECD are common brands.
• Mouthguard - can be any color but white.
• Cleats - these can either be lacrosse cleats or soccer cleats. Soccer cleats can often be found much cheaper.
