New Player Information
WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF LACROSSE
New to lacrosse? That's okay. Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. We welcome all boys and girls living in the Ephrata Area School District and surrounding areas. Lacrosse is a spring sport that begins in February. We typically start indoor, but get outside once the weather agrees. Games begin in mid-March and the season ends in mid-May. Practices are held at Snyder Park behind Clay Elementary School. Boys teams typically practice 3-5 times per week, girls' teams practice 2-3 times per week depending upon age level. Games are held on either Saturday or Sundays. Boys typically play one game per "play date" and the girls play two. Registration
Registration for the Spring 2025 season will open in November and be done via TeamSnap. Once registration opens, please complete the registration as soon as possible to give us an idea about how many teams we will have at each level. We also need to ensure that we have enough players to field a team at each level and enough coaches at each level. In the event we do not have enough players at a given level, we will reach out to other teams in the league to join them. This is a common practice.
